This page explains what AI Resume Tailor collects, how it is used, which third-party services help deliver the product, and how you can request deletion of stored data.
1. Information we collect
We collect the resume text, job description text, and related input you choose to submit to the service.
If you sign in, we also collect basic account information provided through Google Authentication, such as your email address and display name.
If you make a purchase, we may store payment-related metadata such as transaction IDs, unlock status, and timestamps. We do not store full payment card details.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to generate tailored resumes, cover letters, match analysis, and interview preparation content, to save your result history, to deliver paid features, and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
3. Third-party services and processors
We use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate AI Resume Tailor. These may include:
- Google Authentication for sign-in
- Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, storage, authentication, and database services
- Google Gemini or other AI processing providers for content generation
- PayPal for payment processing and transaction verification
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
Your saved generation history may remain in your account until you delete it, request deletion, or we remove it as part of service maintenance, policy enforcement, or product changes.
Operational logs and payment-related records may be retained for a reasonable period to prevent abuse, investigate issues, comply with legal obligations, or resolve billing disputes.
5. Data deletion requests
You can request deletion of your stored account-linked data by emailing support@ai-resumetailor.com from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
6. International processing
Because the service uses cloud-based infrastructure and external providers, your information may be processed in countries other than your own.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and platform-level measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
AI Resume Tailor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
